This document outlines the Materials Processing Institute privacy policy and how the Institute collects, stores and uses personal information obtained via the website on which this policy has been posted (together, the “Website”) or in connection with invitations on the Website to supply personal information.

Collection and use of Personal Information

There are a number of opportunities on the Institute’s website for you to provide the Institute with personal information which identifies you as an individual such as your name, home or business address, email address and telephone number (“Personal Information”). You might also send the Institute Personal Information in response to invitations on the Institute’s website other than directly through the website, such as emailing your CV to an address appearing on the website in connection with recruitment opportunities with Materials Processing Institute.

The Materials Processing Institute may share your Personal Information, but will only share your Personal Information for the purposes stated above.

Google Analytics

The Materials Processing Institute also uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics is based on cookies which allow an analysis of your use of the Institute’s Website collecting anonymous data such as where you have come from, which pages you visit, and how long you spend on the Website. This data is then stored by Google in order to create reports. These cookies do not store your personal data.

The information generated by the cookie about your use of our Website, including your IP address, may be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google may use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the Institute’ Website, compiling reports on Website activity for the Institute and providing other services relating to Website activity and internet usage.
