VentureFest Tees Valley 2017

VentureFest Tees Valley 2017

The Materials Processing Institute will be exhibiting and participating at VentureFest Tees Valley, a day dedicated to helping businesses of all sizes and sectors to explore new ideas and to discover how innovation can help companies remain relevant, competitive and profitable in the fast-changing global marketplace.

Organisations will leave with practical tools, ideas and expertise that impact on the bottom line and bring about business growth.

VentureFest Tees Valley brings together local businesses, investors, researchers and experts to inspire new ideas, solutions and collaborations. VentureFest Tees Valley is packed with interesting and relevant content for businesses of all sizes regardless of whether they are just starting up or well established and experienced.

Visitors will:

  • Hear from inspiring speakers
  • Find out more about how to raise finance
  • Network with useful new connections
  • Have access to leading industry and business experts
  • Learn new skills

The event programme includes speakers, workshops, a showcase of innovative companies and investor meetings. VentureFest Tees Valley aims to attract 400 businesses, entrepreneurs and innovators from across Darlington, Stockton, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough and Redcar and Cleveland, and is free for local businesses to attend.

It's a unique opportunity to learn from those in other business sectors. To discover new tools and gain practical advice and inspiration that can be applied directly to businesses.

Following on from last year's successful 'Innovate Tees Valley Festival' trial event, Tees Valley is to move onto the national innovation stage after securing a place in the VentureFest calendar of UK events. Now VentureFest Tees Valley will build on this success to showcase the regions innovative spirit to the UK.

Alongside the Knowledge Transfer Network, VentureFest Tees Valley's founding partners are Innovate Tees Valley (the innovation support programme part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund and run by Teesside University, NEPIC, the Materials Processing Institute and Digital City) and Tees Valley Combined Authority.
