UK Steel Innovation Day - Key note speaker announced


UK Steel is staging a one day, free of charge Innovation Conference in London's iconic Science Museum on the 27 September 2018. This event will showcase the high level of technical innovation taking place in the steel industry, the dynamic people driving the sector forward, and the opportunities the sector represents throughout the supply chain.

This is an opportunity to hear the leading innovators from the sector and learn how R&D can unlock the potential for a sustainable steel industry.

The materials Processing Institute is taking a leading role with CEO, Chris McDonald chairing the conference and the Institute is also an Associate Sponsor.

The line-up of speakers includes Technical Directors from the main UK steel producers, Cambridge University, Siemens, and it has just been announced that Robert Stacey, Commercial Director at Heathrow Expansion Programme will be the key note speaker.
