Programme confirmed for ferrous metallurgy event
The programme has now been confirmed for the 7th Postgraduate Research Symposium on Ferrous Metallurgy which will take place at Armourers’ Hall, London on Tuesday 27th February.

Once again, the programme will feature a full day of presentations from PhD and EngDoc students with sessions focusing on aspects of ferrous metallurgy relevant to:
- Process Development
- New Approaches for Future Manufacture
- Characterisation and Properties
This year the Keynote Speaker is Dr Pam Murrell, CEO, Cast Metals Federation. In this presentation, Pam will consider the challenges and opportunities for the UK casting industry, with emphasis on how castings can be part of the solution for the transition to net zero.
Along with the presentations, there will be a poster display of PhD and EngDoc students’ research and an exhibition featuring industry sponsors.
