This presentation will showcase how the Materials Processing Institute is driving the deployment of hydrogen, carbon capture and storage, and biofuels across energy-intensive sectors such as steel and cement. By combining process optimisation, advanced modelling, and pilot-scale demonstrations, MPI enables practical pathways to decarbonization. The session will highlight lessons from real-world applications, challenges in scaling technologies, and the critical role of cross-sector collaboration and innovation in accelerating industrial transitions.
