This workshop will discuss various aspects of industrial instrumentation and control, including how the use of indirect measurement can enhance the control of a process.

The development of the internet and its impact on control will also be discussed.

On the day you will: 

  • Gain understanding of instrumentation including accuracy and repeatability
  • Learn how indirect measurement can assist in process control
  • Understand what control is - what are the different types
  • Gain insight into what is the next step in control - Factory 4.0?
  • Discuss measurement and control problems
